Examine Yourselves Index

The Answers to the following Questions can be found in the lessons of Module 10.

Question 1: “Jehovah” has made scores of promises in His Holy Word. What reassuring facts come to mind when you think about promises; and what in your opinion are two of the best divine promises recorded in Scripture?
See Lesson 1 for the answer.

Question 2: Jesus Christ is undoubtedly the greatest human being that ever walked this earth. He even claimed to be the “Son of God!” How you react to that claim will affect you eternally. How would you answer the question: “What shall I do then with Jesus?”
See Lesson 2 for the answer.

Question 3:

Peace is a divine product. It is made in heaven. Human governments cannot make or keep the peace; not for any length of time at any rate. “War, turmoil, revolution, bloodshed, hate, revenge” and “greed” is what we humans specialize in. And yet most people yearn for peace. Complete these two verses: “There is no peace, saith my God, .......................... ” “Great peace have they which ............................ : and nothing shall offend them.”
See Lesson 3 for the answer.

Question 4: Millions of tracts and books have been published in an effort to identify the “Antichrist.” Undoubtedly his spirit permeates the evil organizations of men down through the ages. List six Scriptural clues which help identify the Antichrist, the great “Beast” of Revelation 13.
See Lesson 4 for the answer.

Question 5: Human suffering is, perhaps, one of the hardest things to understand. How can a loving, merciful and powerful God allow pain and suffering to continue on such a massive scale? Name as many reasons as you can why God allows people to suffer.
See Lesson 5 for the answer.

Question 6: People in their billions are neglecting salvation. All kinds of trivial excuses are spouted as a defence. “I’m too busy, too tired, too sick, too poor, too ignorant” etc.. Will God accept these excuses; and if not, then “How can we escape if we neglect so great salvation?”
See Lesson 6 for the answer.

Question 7: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.” What are the key messages from Scripture and “Which Bible Version” has preserved its divinely inspired heritage?
See Lesson 7 for the answer.

Question 8: Though “with God all things are possible,” the Almighty still expects His followers to pray. What are the mandatory parameters of prayer that release the mighty power of God so that the seemingly impossible is accomplished by Him with ease?
See Lesson 8 for the answer.

Question 9: Inner peace for a sinner is not possible without true repentance, confession and a determination to stop sinning in future. The message of Psalm 51 tells of king David's repentance and confession. To whom should sinners make their confession - “to God Himself or to a priest?”
See Lesson 9 for the answer.

Question 10: Almost 2000 years ago “Yeshua the Saviour” departed from earth after making a promise to come back. Why the delay?
See Lesson 10 for the answer.

Question 11: Daniel's life is a fine example for us to follow. He refused to defile himself by eating the unclean meat forbidden in Scripture. He was obedient in every detail and he prayed with telling effect. But were these acts enough to save his family?
See Lesson 11 for the answer.

Question 12: Perfection is possible and it should be the goal of all true believers in Christ. When writing to the seven churches mentioned in the Revelation, the Saviour repeated one statement “seven times.” What was that statement and what do you suppose he meant by it?
See Lesson 12 for the answer.
