The Litmus Test
In a desperate effort to be taken seriously by our 'couldn't-care-less society,'
the Christian churches are now coming together in an 'Ecumenical Movement.' They are seeking
world-wide unity! Alas, they are not uniting under the banner of Bible truth and righteousness,
but under a hazy, watery constitution which allows everyone to believe what they want; so long as they
'love one another and keep the peace.'

Questions & Answers
The Saviour did not come to abolish his Father's law,
but to fulfil it. (Matt 5:17-20) The word 'fulfil' means to 'carry out,' to 'do,
' to 'perform' and 'obey'. Had the Messiah abolished the law, he would have contradicted
his own words when he said that the 'law would outlast the universe;' and it is evident that the
heavens and the earth are still here, so the law must still exist. The Bible classifies all men as
sinners.

The Law of Yahweh

your danger. We can bring to your notice what The Almighty has said in His
Word. But only His Spirit can convict you of sin. Bear in mind that
the Saviour is anxious to save you from all your sins - however small
or great they may be.

Not under Law / But under Grace
What did the Apostle Paul mean when he wrote that a believer is 'Not under the law,
but under grace?' Did he mean that a believer was at liberty to sin and break God's law? Obviously not;
because elsewhere in his letters Paul advises believers to obey the law. What, then, did Paul mean?

Sunday
Is Sunday, the first day of the week, the Christian Sabbath? Did it replace the
seventh day (Saturday) as the rest day of Yahweh the Almighty God of Israel?
Has the fourth of the Ten Commandments as recorded in Exodus 20:8-11 been changed or done away with?
If all the praiseworthy characters mentioned in the Bible - including the Saviour and
his twelve apostles - kept the seventh day Sabbath, then why oh why are
the majority of Christians keeping Sunday?

The Ten Commandments
According to the Bible "Sin is the transgression of the law."
Comparatively few people are aware of this fact; but any lawyer will tell you
that "ignorance of the law is no excuse." A judge may extend leniency
because of a person's ignorance, and in virtually every fair law court on
earth that is what good judges do: but ignorance of the law is really no
excuse. It is the same with the law of God. Ignorance is no excuse.

Iniquity in the Christian Church!
Many reading this article will ask: "But hasn't the law been fulfilled and
done away with by Jesus Christ?" The answer is: No it hasn't. One doesn't
do away with a law by fulfilling it. The word 'fulfil' means to
accomplish, to carry out, to obey. A prophecy may become obsolete once it is
fulfilled: but not a law: and most certainly not one of the Ten Commandments.

Doctrine, Who needs it?
We are commanded to preach sound doctrine! The world is perishing
because of a lack of sound doctrine; those divine principles which teach
us how to regulate our behaviour. The popular church has departed from
the doctrines of the Bible and are now wallowing in the unclean
doctrines of men and angels. Because of this, sin in its myriad forms is
smothering the life out of billions of souls! We dare not remain silent;
even if it means upsetting some readers, a reaction we deeply regret.

Love for God and Neighbour
You will learn a lot about true love for God and neighbour when you study
Yahweh's law. It is the divine formula for true love. If, with His help, you
seek to practice it, you will be well on your way to "loving the LORD
thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
might ... and thy neighbour as thyself." Those who reject Yahweh's
law are heading for disaster. That is what The Almighty says to all the
peoples of the world.

The Everlasting Covenant
A covenant is a legal agreement, a contract between two or more parties.
The Everlasting Covenant is an agreement between YAHWEH the
God of Israel and His followers. As its name implies, it is everlasting.
This contract will last for all time, age after age, for eternity! It is,
therefore, of utmost importance to every believer in the Almighty to learn
about this covenant.

Christian Marriage
Millions of young couples these days set up home without getting
married. It's the 'in thing.' The beautiful and the famous are seen
doing it: so the youth follow suit. But the point is - are these
couples doing wrong? Is sex outside marriage a sin? The answer is: Yes
they are doing wrong, sex outside marriage is sin.

Divorce & Remarriage
These days couples get divorced for scores of trivial
reasons. As a result the marriage institution has become a joke to
millions. The world's governments also compound the problem by
ignoring Yahweh's penal laws. Thousands of futile laws have
been tried and discarded. They don't work and never will.

Adultery
Human beings are incapable of formulating moral laws. Actions considered
acceptable in one country are condemned in another. Even the
generations within a country have different opinions about what constitutes
good moral behaviour. Parents argue with disagreeing teenagers, teachers
with pupils, authorities with the population. Everyone it seems has
his/her own opinion on what constitutes good moral behaviour.

Fornication
The Bible contains many prophecies about the fate of fornicators.
Popular opinion will count for nothing on the great Day of Judgment.
Smug, knowing smiles will then be wiped from every face: and ignorance,
for those who read this file at any rate, will cease to be an excuse.

The Rising Popularity of Homosexuality
Sex is big news these days. On TV and in the press the sexual antics
of the famous and infamous are discussed almost daily. Besides,
homosexuals no longer hide their sexual orientation. They have 'come
out.' They boldly proclaim that they are homosexuals. Strangely enough
even this development is not new. It took place centuries ago.

Penal Laws in Scripture
During Christ's Millennial Reign the penal laws of the Most
High will be fully implemented. The Saviour, and the over-comers
who make up his government, will at first be looked upon as ruling
with "a rod of iron." But gradually the full benefits of
Yahweh's law will dawn on human society and the millennial reign will
become a time of peace and prosperity for all nations.

Ceremonial Laws
All these laws are recorded in the first five books of the Bible.
They were initially given to Israel, but were intended
for the benefit of all mankind. It is undoubtedly one of humanity's
greatest blunders that Yahweh's laws have been rejected by all nations
in favour of countless impotent human regulations, most of which need
updating every generation.

Dietary Laws
The Judgment Day is still future and it is unlikely that
Yahweh would punish the generation before Calvary for eating
swine's flesh and then forgive the generation after Calvary for
eating the same things. Such an inconsistent Judgment would create
chaos in people's minds for all time. You may therefore be certain
that eating unclean meat (swine and mouse etc.) is still a sin and
will be punished on the Day of Judgment.

Spiritism
According to the Bible, the Holy Spirit is only given to those
who obey the Almighty God. Persistent sinners are certainly not channels of His Holy Spirit. The
main purpose of salvation, the Scriptures tell us, is that we may be saved from sin
(disobedience) and death; and that we may live holy and righteous (obedient)
lives to the glory of God. That is why Jesus Christ came to this earth in the first place,
and that is what the Bible teaches. Sorcerers will not inherit eternal life.
