Stewards In The Royal Household
Perhaps one of the greatest challenges you have ever come across,
to be a faithful and wise Steward in the Household of the King of Kings.
It is a highly responsible post we will admit, and one that will call for sacrifice; but the rewards
are great - greater by far than anything you can imagine. Are you willing to take up your duties?

Wisdom
Biblical objectives are seldom discussed or aimed at. If they are mentioned,
they are mostly sneered at or ignored as irrelevant in this day and age. Yet Biblical objectives are by far
the most important and most valuable of all.

Adultery
Forgiveness and salvation is possible for all sinners who repent and forsake their
sins: no matter what those sins may be. But no one should delude themselves into thinking that the
ten commandments are obsolete and that acts of adultery - albeit fashionable - are going to be
ignored by the Almighty God. They will not!

Fornication
No matter how popular fornication is, do not be foolish enough to try it:
and if you're already involved, then repent immediately and forsake this soul and society-destroying sin.
Marriage is the best safeguard against fornication. Get married if you must; but do not fornicate.
It may be exciting; but it is deadly!

Homosexuality
This is the Almighty's law concerning homosexual acts. Failure to keep
it constitutes an abomination. Bear in mind that the city of
Sodom existed long before Israel became a nation: so the Almighty's law
doesn't only apply to Israel, but to all mankind.

Iniquity In The Christian Church
The Christian church is in grave danger and the majority of the faithful
are unaware of the fact. With many of its leaders abandoning the fundamentals of the faith, a
diminishing membership and a chronic shortage of funds, the once vibrant Christian church is now
in serious danger.

Is Christmas a Christian Festival?
This article will first answer the question: When, according to
Scripture, was Jesus Christ born? It will then go on to quote
various historians who wrote concerning Christmas, then list the
scriptural alternatives to Christmas, Easter, All Saints day etc. and
the customs associated with them. It will end with a challenging
question which all true believers - of whatever faith - must answer!

Grace
Many Christians believe that divine grace is a New Testament provision which wasn't
extended to the human race before the Saviour came to earth. They are mistaken. The fact is, the Almighty's grace has been available
to sinners since the fall of Adam. Every time a repentant sinner presented him/herself before God, grace and mercy were freely
extended to that person.

Works
The words 'work' and 'works'
have become suspect in Christian circles these days. Many followers of Jesus believe that 'works' are
unimportant. To them it's not work that matters but faith - and
faith alone! When I speak of the importance of 'works' to them a cry goes up.

Creation
Millions of people in the West do not believe the
Bible account of the creation. They believe in the theory of
EVOLUTION, that the universe began with a big bang billions
of years ago, and that life on earth evolved to its present
state. Almost every day we see brilliantly produced TV programmes about
'Mother Nature of how, all of her own accord, by some inexplicable, inherent power,
nature produced our magnificent world and its myriad life forms..

Evolution
Which viewpoint society bases its faith upon eventually determines the
behaviour of that society. If the youth are taught that they came from apes,
then the 'law of the jungle' - the survival of the fittest - will take
over: and no one should be surprised at the moral collapse of society,
particularly amongst the youth. They are merely living out the 'law of the
jungle' as taught to them by their elders.

The Sign of the Cross
A Voice In The Wilderness - Toronto, Canada advises all
Christians to stop wearing or venerating the cross on which our Saviour was crucified.
Who in their right mind would venerate a murder weapon used to kill a loved one?
It is the same with the cross. We greatly rejoice that our Saviour died to bring about our
salvation; but that 'instrument of torture,' which is what the cross was,
is not something Christians should venerate.

Christian Marriage
Millions of young couples these days set up home without getting
married. It's the 'in thing.' The beautiful and the famous are seen
doing it: so the youth follow suit. But the point is - are these
couples doing wrong? Is sex outside marriage a sin? The answer is: Yes
they are doing wrong, sex outside marriage is sin. According to God's
law these couples are committing the sin of fornication.

Divorce & Remarriage
Divorce is on the increase. No one doubts this fact. Indeed
it is a sign of the times: a sign that the return of Jesus Christ
is near. (Matthew 24:37-39) Needless to say we all sympathize with
couples whose marriages have broken up; but divorce is not the
answer. The Almighty hates divorce. (Malachi 2:16)

Polygamy
This article is addressed to believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac
and Israel. It is aimed at believers all over the world, no matter
in which country they find themselves. It is based on the Scriptural
teaching concerning marriage and the texts and the examples given may
be checked for accuracy.

Does God Exist?
We live in a world where millions doubt the existence of God: a world of
science and technology in which people only accept what they can prove:
see, measure, weigh or touch. Understandably, abstract concepts are
accepted with caution. The world is crawling with religious cranks, weirdos
and crackpots all claiming to be spokesmen of the Almighty God.

Faith
It would even be true to say
that mature faith requires no miraculous manifestations of any kind to prove
the existence or ability of the Most High. This does not mean that faith is
some kind of blind belief based on unquestioning ignorance. On the contrary!

Salvation
Will the acceptance of salvation remove all life's problems? No it will
not. Believers do not live trouble-free lives. They have burdens. Many
are unemployed, poor, lonely, ill or persecuted. But all this is
temporary. It will not last for ever. It will end - sooner than many
suppose. However, in this life salvation brings amongst other things - peace
of mind, faith and HOPE!

Sabbath Keeping
A lot of HOT AIR has been spoken about 'how to keep
the Sabbath.' A 'Voice' In The Wilderness, Toronto, Canada has no wish to add to the confusion!
Each believer will need to decide for him/herself how to keep the Sabbath day.
Why, even the Saviour's performance was not up to the standards of the
religious leaders of his day. Who are we to expect a better assessment of
ours?

Sunday
Very soon this matter about the
True Sabbath Day is
going to engage the minds of every soul on earth. It is going to be the main
issue in the "coming spiritual election" in which all mankind will declare
their spiritual preference either for the Traditions of Men, or for the
Commandments of God. What will your choice be?

Circumcision
Physical circumcision has been temporarily suspended
as it had been in the days of Moses. If a Jew or Muslim is converted to Christ he should
not undo his circumcision. If an uncircumcised Gentile is converted to
Christ, he should not go and get circumcised: because the real
circumcision is still future.

This is a question that has been on the minds of billions of souls

Immortality
Millions of human beings, of all religions, believe that the human
soul is immortal. In other words, the soul of man cannot
die. The word 'immortal' means 'not subject
to death' but 'living forever' To be sure everyone
agrees that the human body dies. Indeed every time one attends
a funeral its obvious that the body dies. But what of the soul?
Does it die? Can it die?

The system of
prayer, though operating on an infinitely higher plane than any man-made
telecommunication system, is no exception. It can also breakdown. But, in some

far than repairing the telephone or fixing a computer. What's more the
parameters of prayer are extremely simple:

The Gift of Tongues
We are told in the scriptures to prove all things. (1 Thess.5:21) This
has and is still being done. Modern linguists have recorded and analysed
many tape-recordings of so-called messages in tongues. The astonishing fact
is that they have yet to find a single truthful message given this way in a
recognizable human language. In every instance the recorded sounds have
proved to be unintelligible gibberish or blasphemous statements which
totally contradict the scriptures.

with success. Better that you ask Yahweh to lead you, to direct you to
do His will. If you do this, praying all the while that His Spirit
will be with you, then success will be yours.

Sacred Names - Part 1
We in Toronto use the
name Jehovah, Yahweh or Yahovah with particular reference to the Father.
Various English spellings are used simply because no one can be absolutely certain how to
pronounce the sacred name. The name YHVH (Jehovah) appears over 6500 times in the
Hebrew Old Testament!

and used the sacred name of the Almighty, YAHWEH,
since about 1996. If you read our literature you will see this to be
the case. Moreover, when we use the words LORD or God we realize
that these are not names. Why then do we use them?
