Bible Prophecy & The Prophet.
The Bible is its own interpreter. Obscure passages in one place
are explained in simpler terms elsewhere in Scripture. A man is no more able to understand
or explain a prophecy of his own will, than he is able to give a true prophecy.
TRUE prophecy comes from above; so does the UNDERSTANDING of it.

Zion...City of Peace & Holiness
Many people refer to Rome as the eternal city. This is
a big mistake. The eternal city is not Rome. The eternal city,
according to the Word of God, is not New York, London,
Frankfurt, Moscow or Tokyo - but Zion! One day Rome, along
with all these other sin-ridden capitals of the nations will become
a heap of rubble (Rev:16:19). But Zion is eternal.

The Lowly Messiah
Messiah had no luxuries during his life on earth. He often spent
whole nights out in the open. Church leaders who live in luxury at the
expense of their flocks are most certainly not following in the
footsteps of the lowly Saviour."... Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the
Son of man hath not where to lay his head."

True Believer's
The true believer is one of the most privileged persons on earth. In the Kingdom
we will all appreciate the full extent of this fact, which now we know only in part. Future sermons in
this category will deal with great men and women of God whose lives testify to the fact that
they were Yahweh's peculiar people, His special spiritual treasure!

The Mustard Seed
Man's way of doing things is to start with an impressive show, to put on
something big, something spectacular, something that will win the attention
and admiration of as many people as possible. This is natural and human, but
very immature. Yahweh's way is the very opposite. He begins everything He
does in a small way; with a seed, an idea, a word or a baby.

The Lord's Prayer
Satan, also called Lucifer the fallen
arch-angel, is not happy that Christians voice this final summing
up of the Lord's Prayer' For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever Amen.' That is why Satan has arranged for this whole phrase to be either
[bracketed] or omitted from modern translations
of the Bible. In one swipe the Devil has sought to remove the guarantee
that this vital prayer will be answered. Full well does he know that the Almighty God of Israel
alone has the authority the power and the will that it
takes to answer this prayer. No other soul in the universe has that power.

The Kingdom of God
The Kingdom of God, also referred to in Scripture as The Kingdom of Heaven,
is an everlasting kingdom which spans the mighty universe. Currently invisible to
the human eye and unheard of by the vast majority of human beings, the Kingdom
of God is, nevertheless, more real and abiding than all the earthly kingdoms
and empires this world has ever known. It is a spiritual kingdom into which
only those born of the Spirit of the Most High may enter.

Sunday
Is Sunday, the first day of the week, the Christian Sabbath? Did it replace
the seventh day (Saturday) as the rest day of Yahweh the Almighty God of Israel?
Has the fourth of the Ten Commandments as recorded in Exodus 20:8-11 been changed or done
away with? If all the praiseworthy characters mentioned in the Bible - including the Saviour and
his twelve apostles - kept the seventh day Sabbath, then why oh why are
the majority of Christians keeping Sunday?

The True Sabbath Day
The Seventh day Sabbath is also the divine Sign which the God of Israel
places in the minds of His people. It is Yahweh's Signature which He
inscribes on the believer's mind to commemorate his work of creation,
sanctification and salvation through Jesus. The Sabbath is, in fact, the
eternal memorial token of the perpetual covenant between The Almighty and His
Church. What's more, it will continue to be so even in the new heavens and the new earth.

Penal Laws in Scripture
The Creator has given mankind detailed rules for controlling crime.
The AIM of this article is to bring a few of those rules to the
reader's attention. In the past men have endeavoured to control crime
by human methods, all of which have miserably failed. The rising crime
rate in every country is proof that mankind, with all its boasted
knowledge, is incapable of controlling crime.

Psalm 23
Sad to say not everyone can sing this psalm and mean it: for many are
lost sheep. They have wandered away from the good shepherd and are shivering,
hungry and frightened on the cliffs of life. Perhaps you are one of them - a
lost sheep. Did you know that the good shepherd is looking for you?

The Wedding Banquet
I find it impossible to imagine the scale of the insult God is currently
suffering by millions who are too busy to even consider His gracious
invitation. Nor can I imagine His anger when His servants are insulted
and martyred. That anger is great, I have little doubt, and the outcome will
be terrifying.
|
The Just Shall Live By Faith
Millions of Christians live under the impression that faith in Jesus has
done away with the need to obey the commandments of God. This is
undoubtedly the greatest error Christian preachers have ever taught. It has
turned multitudes into persistent and wilful Sabbath-breakers. For the
fact is faith places a believer under greater obligation to keep Yahweh's commandments.

Death
How does one overcome the fear of death?
The answer is simple. Become acquainted with the One who has already conquered
death. Yes, accept salvation from "death's conqueror" - Jesus Christ. Put
your trust in him, follow him, verbally acknowledge before some third party
that you believe in the risen Lord, and then take positive steps to obey the
commandments of God.

Resurrection From The Dead
When people die they do not go to hell, heaven or any other place. The
material that their bodies was made of returns to the earth whether they
are buried or cremated. Their spirits return to God - awaiting the
resurrection. Both the old and the new Testament teach that there is
going to be a resurrection of the just and the unjust. The first
resurrection takes place at the return of Yahshua the Messiah. That
day is very, very near.

The Resurrection
The reality of
the resurrection means that Jesus Christ not only rose from the dead, but that
He is alive today. Yes, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, is alive
today. And it is because He is alive and personally directing the work of His
Church, that all the unbelieving forces in existence have been unable to
prevent the Everlasting Gospel spreading to the four corners of this earth.

Talented Servants
These parables point to an eternity of matchless joy for those
servants who make good use of the talents they receive. They will
enter the Kingdom of Heaven when their Master says: 'Enter
thou into the joy of thy Lord! Are you going to be amongst
them? Are you using the talents Yahweh has given you? Or are
you burying them in the world - the earth? Make sure you
are putting your talents to use. It matters little how many
talents you have, or how few. The important thing is to use them.

Yahweh's Church
The Bible plainly tells us that
sectarianism is carnal. The word "carnal" means of the flesh, prompted
by human reasoning, something that is not of the Holy Spirit. It adds: to
be carnally minded is death. That is why so many denominations are
bankrupt and falling apart. Pride goeth before a fall.

The Hour of Temptation
It is absolutely impossible to appreciate the value of promises of this
magnitude. They are heaven's finest gifts and they are reserved for the
overcomer: to those who have obeyed Yahweh's law in the face of the
most fearsome odds. The Hour of Temptation is almost upon us. How
will it find you; prepared or unprepared? Remember that your present
performance will determine whether or not you are divinely kept from
falling during that dreadful hour.

Wise Stewards
Peter said, 'Lord, do you intend this parable specially for us or is it for
everyone?' The Lord said, Luke 12:42
"Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make
ruler over His household to give their portion of meat in due
season? Blessed is that servant whom his Lord when he cometh shall find
so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath."

Yahweh's Enemies
Make no mistake, YAHWEH the Almighty God of Israel
does have enemies - many enemies! Besides Satan there are others who become the Almighty's
enemies: He loathes them for their unbelief and evil ways. The Bible
tells us that God began to hate Esau, the brother of Jacob,
because Esau despised the sacred things of God. He (Esau) not only
disbelieved, but he mocked.

The Judgement
When that day - or rather when that time -
arrives, and there is every indication that it is very near, the universe will
witness an outpouring of wrath and punishment the like of which has never been
seen before, nor ever shall be seen again. That day will herald its approach
with a Time of Trouble on earth which will engulf our civilization and reach
its climax when all mankind will stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ.

Yahweh's Love
When the Saviour returns to this earth, we shall begin to really understand the
meaning of the word redemption. Suffice it at this moment to know that our
redemption is by the grace of God; the grace which is prompted by
Yahweh's amazing love - is in my estimation the greatest characteristic the
Almighty possesses. For all eternity we shall learn about and marvel at the
multiple virtues of the Most High, His abilities and power, His position and
authority, His likes and dislikes etc.

Yahweh's Mercy
We live in an extremely brutal world; a world in which mental and
physical cruelty are commonplace. Mercy is vanishing from the earth and
people are becoming callous, pitiless and cruel. It is at a time like this
that kindness and mercy are desperately needed. And what better channel could
the Most High find to express His mercy to the world than the true believer him/herself.

The Holy Scriptures
Only eternity will reveal the unimaginable wisdom and power of its divine author as
unfolding events in time verify the accuracy of His statements and the
efficiency of His laws. The Bible is the Manual for Living, Life's User Guide,, the spiritual
diet for the believer whatever his nationality, colour or station in life.
Mankind's greatest error is that, in the main, it has spurned the great truths of
the Bible and rejected its divine Author and His generous offer of salvation.

Doctrine
The Bible admonishes us to live by sound doctrine:- the
principles of Yahweh. If you really wish to understand the will of the Almighty you
must begin to obey His commandments: which are simply the
divine definitions of His own principles.
You may have had some extremely exciting experiences. I'll not
doubt them. But if you are relying on personal experiences
instead of the WORD of God, then you are in for a big surprise on
the soon-coming Day of Judgement.

The Price Of Salvation
Are You Worth It?
Have you been shopping lately? What have you bought? What did you
pay? And, here comes the next - inevitable - question: Was it worth it?
Let me ask you an extremely personal question. Are you worth what
Yahweh paid for you? It's a difficult question to answer; but it's one
we should be constantly asking ourselves. Am I worth it?

British Israel
In view of these facts, let all lay aside the false notion of being
superior to other peoples or races: be they black, brown (as the
Saviour was) yellow or white. The British Israel theory
collapses on several other scores; but enough proof is given here to
discard it as a dangerous fallacy. Having to fall back on appearance,
colour, race, education, accent, wealth or social standing is at best
- a poor substitute for faith and holiness.

The Perfect Church
We attend church services, not to meet with perfect people, or
even to hear perfect sermons about absolute truth. No, you should
attend Sabbath services to worship Yahweh the Almighty
God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: the Father of our Lord and Saviour
Yeshua the Messiah. And as you worship Him you will benefit
greatly from His presence. The Almighty God will be with you
in Spirit and in Truth. You will be greatly blessed over and
above anything you can remotely imagine.

Satanic Attack
The two spiritual superpowers of the universe,
Satan the Devil and Yahweh the Creator are contending
for your soul. Are you worth the attention and effort? Are you
such a valuable prize to be won? On the evidence of Holy Writ,
I can assure you that you are an extremely valuable prize. So
never underestimate yourself. Instead, insure that God rules your life and not Satan.

Satan the Devil
The Devil was originally a holy arch angel of light called Lucifer, son of
the morning! He is a being of astonishing beauty, intelligence and power.
He was one of the two original "covering cherubs" who stood in the
very presence of Yahweh the Creator. The Devil was in Eden at the
creation of the world. He was the symbolic 'serpent' who tempted our
first parents to mistrust the Almighty and break His commandment.

Angel Protection
WHAT OF TODAY?
Today we await angel protection else Satan will wipe out
the church. Like Lot of old we live in an extremely evil
society, which is fast descending into the life-style of Sodom
and Gomorrah. Angels are scheduled to one day lead us out of this
system like ancient Israel was divinely escorted out of Egypt.
The end-time saints will be delivered again as was Daniel, Shadrach,
Meshach and Abednego.

Messengers of God
Though there are countless millions of angel beings in the universe
(Rev.5:11) none of us in this audience have actually seen an angel. Indeed
few people in the history of mankind, comparatively speaking, have actually
seen an angel. We've all heard about angels and we believe that angels exist;
but how many of us can actually say "I've seen an angel." In the Scriptures
we read of many instances where angels have appeared to men and women.

Fallen Angels
Looking through the pages of the Bible we find many stories of superhuman
visitors to earth whose dealings with mankind go back to the dawn of human
history. We ought to know something about these beings in order to properly
understand the universe in which we live. Millions of people want to know.
Hence the current upsurge in unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Are they
ancient and modern manifestations of: Spiritism
Or genuine ET beings - visitors from other worlds?
People want to know. Some government authorities, who were once sceptical
about the supernatural, are now investigating the matter. What does the
Bible say about visitors from outer space?

Angels
Astonishing as it may seem, each and every one of us has angel protection, even from birth. We
refer to these angels as 'guardian angels.' Harming others - especially little children, or
those who are young in the faith - can have fearsome consequences. Matthew 18:10
"See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in
heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven."
Praise Yahweh for this fact!

Reference Books On Creation
Evolution is taught as though it were proven fact. Never a week
goes by, but mention is made of it on TV and radio. The arguments for
special creation are, sad to say, seldom aired. As a result few
adults, let alone their growing children, have studied those
arguments. Yet, I can assure you, they exist and they are very strong.
The following books present arguments to support the Bible account of
creation far more convincingly than we in A Voice In The Wilderness can.

Rebellion
Are you a rebel? That may sound like an insulting question.
But it is not meant to be. Rather, it is an invitation to examine
yourself to see whether you have any doubts about God, His
only begotten Son Jesus and His Holy Word. Because if you
do, it will not be long before you join the rebellion sweeping the earth.
|
No King In Israel
Sons of Belial can be
recognized by their hatred of true believers. They oppose the
Son of God, the Word of God, the Law of God and
the People of God. Though sometimes professing to be Christians,
they are like the ancient Benjamite Sheba (2 Samuel 20)
a son of Belial who thought nothing of slaughtering
the true servants and priests of the Most High. You may be sure that religious
persecution is an unmistakable sign that the sons of Belial are at work.

Spiritism
According to the Bible, the Holy Spirit is only given to those who obey
the Almighty God. Persistent sinners are certainly not channels of His Holy Spirit. The
main purpose of salvation, the Scriptures tell us, is that we may be saved from sin
(disobedience) and death; and that we may live holy and righteous (obedient)
lives to the glory of God. That is why Jesus Christ came to this earth in the first place, and that is
what the Bible teaches. Sorcerers will not inherit eternal life. Instead they
will perish in the lake of fire along with multitudes of persistent sinners who
refuse to repent and give up their sinful ways.

The Lost Son
The simplicity of this procedure may amaze you: but it is true and it
works. So do not delay. Accept salvation today. Remember, you were
born to live forever! Accepting salvation will ensure that you do.
My prayer is that the Spirit of Yahweh and His Son
Yahshua, will be with you for all time, for His name's sake. Amen.

Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery
Often we read of standards in Scripture which appear to be so high that
most people dismiss them as impossible. They don't want to know and
write the Scriptures off as outdated instruction. But these people are
wrong. With Yahweh's Spirit the highest standards can be reached. Here
is one such standard. Matthew 5:28 "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust
after her hath committed adultery with her in his heart."

Angel Influence
Resisting and overcoming the devil is by far the greatest challenge any
believer can face. How should we go about this? How and where do we start and
what strategy should we follow? Here are a few clues.
The very first thing we must do is to stop 'sacrificing to devils.' This means
we must jettison all pagan religious practices and forms of worship.
Every religious practice which conflicts with Yahweh's law must be
abandoned! This is the first step in overcoming the Devil. And until it is
taken, other objectives will not be reached.

Habakkuk
Are You Discouraged?
So was Habakkuk; so was Moses; so was Elijah: "Let me
die" said Elijah. So was Job. Oh what a staggering experience was his!
So was Isaiah: "Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of
unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips."
(Isaiah 6:5) So was David, Jeremiah, John the Baptist, JESUS and
every Apostle in turn: loneliness, sorrow, poverty, hardship,
misunderstanding, betrayal, slander, persecution and in many cases - even death!

Study
The youth at school or university who ignore the advice to study,
later regret their foolishness. If study is so important in secular life, for obtaining a high
education and eventually a good job, how much more important must it be when one's very
character and eternal life are at stake! Let us examine the process of study by taking this
R.O.A.D.

Learn To Know
The accumulation of knowledge is, in
itself, not enough. You must Learn to Know Jehovah and His Son Yeshua the
Messiah. You must also learn to obey God in thought, word and deed. The
Bible is simply a spiritual road map directing you to those two
objectives: to know and to obey the Almighty and His Son. Put differently we may say:
Trust and Obey: or
'Fear God and keep His commandments,
for this is the whole duty of man.'

Ark of The Covenant
Scriptural evidence that the
Ark of the Testimony is in heaven itself. In my opinion
this is the great original which Moses saw when he was with the
Almighty at Mount Sinai. This is the throne of Yahovah the
Almighty God of Israel: a throne based on everlasting law
and everlasting mercy. Not only is the Ark of
the Testimony in existence to day, its sacred contents - the Ten
Commandments - also still exist. They are not obsolete as so
many misguided people think!

Yeshua's Work
Consider his words as standards to aim for. Make them your own. And remember
that you will be rewarded according to the job you have done and finished.
In the final judgement, and we mustn't dismiss this fact from our minds,
every one will be judged according to his/her Works! Oh what a sobering
thought is here before us!

Belshazzar's Banquet
COME OUT OF BABYLON !
In Scripture, fallen society is often figuratively
described as Babylon; and millions of believers,
like Daniel and Ezra, find themselves living in this evil metropolis.
Yahweh's call to us is to separate ourselves from
sin; a seemingly impossible task, but one that must be
done if we want to live forever.

Advise: Where To Get It
What is the subject? Has it spiritual implications? Will ignorance of it lead me to sin?
Can the Scriptures help me find the answer?
Am I taking the advice of the people who really know?
Have the results of previous advice I have taken from people like them proved beneficial or disastrous?
Have I consulted God in prayer?
Am I taking His advice or listening to blatant sinners who think nothing of breaking His law?
What kind of advice am I giving to others?
