Text Based On Hebrews Chapter 4 (KJV)
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Safely Through Another Week

1. Safely through another week-
God has brought us on our way;
Let us now a blessing seek,
Waiting in His courts today:
Day of all the week the best,
Emblem of eternal rest.

2. While we seek supplies of grace-
Through the dear Redeemer’s name-
Show Thy reconciling face,
Take away our sin and shame;
From our worldly cares set free,
May we rest this day in Thee.

3. Here we come Thy name to praise,
May we feel Thy presence near,
May Thy glory meet our eyes-
While we in Thy courts appear;
Here afford us, Lord, a taste-
Of our everlasting feast.

4. May the Gospel’s joyful sound-
Conquer sinners, comfort saints;
Make the fruits of grace abound,
Bring relief to all complaints;
Thus may all our Sabbaths be-
Till we rise to reign with Thee.

A blessèd Seventh Day Sabbath,
to all believers.
In the Son’s Name - For the Father’s glory.
