And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

WHEN MANY FROM THE SAVIOUR TURNED
1.
When many from the Saviour turned,
And walked with Him no more,
A few were left in whom still burned-
The love they had before;
To these He tenderly did say:
And will ye also go away?
And will ye also go away?
2.
Their answer sounds above earth’s strife,
To whom, Lord, shall we go?
Thou hast the words of endless life,
And we believe, and know-
Thou art God’s Holy One, and pray-
That we may never go away.
That we may never go away.
3.
Yet while the foxes have their lair,
And birds of heaven their nest,
He whom ye follow hath not where-
To lay His head to rest;
And will ye share His lot today?
’Twere easier far to go away.
’Twere easier far to go away.
4.
Because iniquity is rife-
The love of some grows cold;
So many leave the way of life,
And wander from the fold;
Yet, Lord, though all men from Thee stray,
We will not ever go away.
We will not ever go away.
A blessèd Seventh Day Sabbath to all believers.
